Hollywood Florida Malls

A destination is only as good as its top shops. Fortunately, Hollywood, Florida, is home to some of South Florida’s best. In Hollywood, Florida, shopping centers are as much about the stores within them as they are about the experience of strolling down promenades. They’re places to upgrade your wardrobe, sure, but they’re also places to eat, drink, socialize, and experience the goods and services unique to Hollywood.

That’s why, when shopping in and around Hollywood Beach, you’ll want to think beyond classic department stores and upscale brands like Louis Vuitton--though you’ll find plenty of that, too. Here, shopper favorites include open air spaces, malls with views, and classic shopping centers with all the brands you know and love.

Discover the five shopping centers you won’t want to miss, all within easy reach of our hotel.

Shoppes at the Waterways

A large fountain flows at the center of this shopping center situated near the North and Center Islands on the Intracoastal Waterways. Their location near the water only enhances the shopping experience, as this center is also open-air. The Florida-inspired atmosphere is good for both families and casual nights out, so your experience at this mall will be as rewarding as the goods you purchase here.

In addition to the shopping experience, this mall also backs up to the Suntex Marina at Aventura. Marinas like these are a quaint piece of the Hollywood Beach landscape, so at this mall you’ll encounter more than just the stores.

Bal Harbour Shops

Discover fashion at its finest at this collection of shops that’s as Florida as it gets. Opened in 1965 on what was once the site of a World War II army barracks, Bal Harbour Shops didn’t initially have the support of retail experts. Unlike other malls of the time, Bal Harbour Shops was open air and retail-only, and was developed to celebrate South Florida’s unique beauty. Neiman Marcus opened shop here in 1971 and the rest is history.

Today, Bal Harbour Shops is home to premiere brand from around the world. Balmain Paris, Versace, Tory Burch, and more sell their goods here. But Bal Harbour shops isn’t all about clothes. Savor gelato, sample handmade chocolates, or attend one of the mall’s many fashion-focused events.

The Village at Gulfstream Park

The Village at Gulfstream Park bills themselves as the place to be seen. That moniker isn’t far from the truth. As much about the social scene as it is about the shopping, Gulfstream Park is a place to spend an afternoon. The shops here vary widely, from home goods like Crate&Barrel to accessories like Charming Charlie. In addition to shopping and dining galore, Gulfstream Park also offers some of the best entertainment in the area.

From the Gulfstream Green Market to the Gulfstream Movie Nights, you’ll be hard pressed to find a day of the week that Sawgrass Mills isn’t hosting an exciting event. Even better? Many of these activities are family friendly. Think Kids Night Out - Kids Concert, or the Village at Gulfstream Park Kids World.

If you’ve ever wondered what it felt like to shop ‘til you drop, South Florida will have you answer. Shopping centers in Hollywood Beach make it easy to shop, dine, eat, and play, all in one place. Options are the key to pleasing all of your travel companions, which is why you’ll want to add at least one of these malls to your “to visit” list. And when you’re done? Hit the beach or the pool. Your feet will have earned the break.
